Culliford House are pleased to announce that we have achieved ‘Platinum’ status after upholding the stringent GSF Standards following our re-accreditation visit November last Year.
The GSF is a leading national standard and gives outstanding training to all those providing end of life care ensuring better lives for people along with recognised standards of care.
Suzanne Jackson Proprietor and Registered Manager said “with end of life care you only get one chance to get it right. We have a very strong team of individuals and work as one big extended family to give our residents the best experience we can, right up to their final days. Being able to receive this award again demonstrates our ongoing commitment to give the highest standards of care and we look forward to the on-going development with the GSF at Culliford House.”
As well as upholding the GSF Standards. Culliford House has also implemented numerous innovative projects to benefit the lives of our residents. One of these includes the ‘Red Bag’ Scheme, which ensures easy recognition of care home residents on the acute pathway with a stand out ‘Red Bag’. This, along with standardised documentation such as hospital transfer passports, Advance Care Plans and the development of treatment escalation planning is improving ‘Patient’ outcomes for all.
The collection of the award has been postponed until October this year and by the end of the year we plan to celebrate our success with you all.
